Submitting Your Sabbatical Leave Proposal

PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTING YOUR SABBATICAL LEAVE PROPOSAL
1. Follow format, font, length and style requirements as outlined in the Proposal Template document.
- Please name your file: First and Last name, date of submission, SabProposal (Example: Walt Disney Sept 6th 2022 SabProposal).
2. Route the formal proposal through adobe sign to the participant and dept chair with a CC to Shauna Hagerman shagerman@santarosa.edu by the deadline stated in Sabbatical Committee Timelines. If you are a Dept Chair have your Supervising Administrator sign the form.
NOTE: The submission deadline is firm.
3. Send another copy of your proposal via email attachment as a Word document to: shagerman@santarosa.edu and moxford@santarosa.edu
4. With any revision, remember to change the date of submission so that it is clear which version of the proposal is being looked at.
5. If the 10% Rule (see Article 25.06 for information) is applicable, submit an email from your Department Chair to shagerman@santarosa.edu and moxford@santarosa.edu
Proposal Changes
Any changes to the proposal due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., travel restricted by state department, natural disaster, class cancelation, etc.) prior to or during the sabbatical leave must be submitted to, and approved by, the committee and recommended for final approval to the Board of Trustees.
